Chats View (Skype for Business Mac). Chats view shows you recent conversations (IM sessions) you've had. Office 2016 includes Skype for Business, so if you have Office 2016 installed, you probably already have Skype. We strongly recommend that users contact their local technical support.
Hi Kev, What kind of deployment do you have? Do you have Skype for business Online or is it an onprem deployment. If it is Online, check if firewall is not blocking traffic and or DNS is setup correctly. You can also check if the client version is allowed on your onprem deployment with: get-csclientversionconfiguration. Internet Plug-Ins MeetingJoinPlugin.plugin. Logs LwaTracing. Saved Application State com.microsoft.SkypeForBusiness.savedState. Preferences com.microsoft.skypeforbusiness.plugin.plist.

Last couple of times, I've seen this issue, the problem has been the internal CA root (and subordinates) certificate was not trusted on the MacOS keychain. Wifi works fine for Windows clients, so apparently not a wifi problem. DNS works fine for Windows clients, so apparently not a DNS problem.
